Hello to all! We are Andrew and Jane Smith, the husband-and-wife owners and managing members of Estate Sales by Riverzedge, LLC in the Rio Grande Valley/RGV. We are the estate sales experts!
About Andrew and Jane:
We have been in the vintage, antiques, and collectibles business since 2006. In fact, we’ve lived in the Rio Grande Valley for most of our lives. Our life in the RGV gives us a unique perspective on vintage items typically found at estate sales. Most importantly, we’ve been conducting estate sales full-time since 2011.
We both received our degrees from UT-Pan American. Before starting our own business, we spent many years in the work-force. We have developed close relationships with people in the antiques and collectibles business. As a result, we have many avenues for researching and marketing your family’s treasures.
In addition, both of us are certified personal property appraisers through the Certified Appraisers Guild of America. No other liquidation company in the RGV can offer this two-fold expertise. We can accurately determine fair market value on your household items. As part of our appraisal service, we will provide a detailed, written, personal property appraisal report.
About Estate Sales by Riverzedge, LLC:
We’ve always had a passion for antiques and collectibles. This passion led to our foundation business, Riverzedge Collectibles. We chose the name “Riverzedge” because that’s sort of where we are in the Rio Grande Valley: on the river’s edge. However, another more profound meaning is implied in our name. When a person reaches a point in life that they need the services of an estate liquidator, they are, in essence, “at the river’s edge”.

At first, we had resale spaces in McAllen, Corpus Christi, Weslaco, Wimberley, and San Antonio. At one time, we had our own antiques store in McAllen. To obtain much of our inventory, we traveled to other markets including San Antonio and Houston. By visiting other markets, we acquired a fresh perspective on estate sales services. In addition, we stay current on trends in the business through our membership in a nationwide estate sale service, Estatesales.net. Consequently, we can conduct your estate liquidation with maximum results.
We are now focused full-time on conducting estate sales as Estate Sales by Riverzedge, LLC. We conduct estate sales in the entire Rio Grande Valley (RGV), from Rio Grande City to McAllen, Harlingen, Brownsville, and all towns in between.
Over the years, we’ve built up an extensive following of customers whom we contact via email and Facebook when we conduct our sales. These customers are potential purchasers at our clients’ estate sales!

We are passionate animal lovers. In fact, we support several rescue organizations. These rescues assist abused, abandoned or neglected dogs. As volunteers, we have temporarily housed and transported dozens of abused and neglected dogs from the RGV. These dogs go to foster homes to help them start a new life and are eventually adopted by amazing, loving families!
