Directions: Take 2nd Street north from Trenton Road in McAllen. Go to Hobbs Drive. Turn east. Turn into Plazas del Lago Subdivision and turn left; follow the signs.

This Plaza del Lago estate sale is in the beautiful home of an iconic UT-RGV communications professor since it was known as Pan American University. In addition, she was also the theatre director, and the house has many theatre posters and memorabilia, including signed theater art. Everything is clean, neat, tasteful and contemporary in style. For example, we have a pristine sofa and loveseat, a twin bed, occasional tables, and a magnificent wooden bar. The kitchen is full of quality china (some of it mid-century-modern), flatware and cool utensils, and other tableware. We have a refrigerator and dryer, a lovely MCM dining table and chairs, MCM upholstered arm chairs and side tables, nightstands, a vintage small armoire, and a mid-century sideboard/buffet. There’s also vintage wooden rockers, a cedar chest, an exquisite, upholstered chaise lounge or “fainting couch”, a fine quality wood office desk and file cabinets, costume jewelry, vintage books, and more!
